We’re Bernie and Reni, passionate travellers who’ve spent years exploring the world. We met while travelling around New Zealand, a journey that sparked not only our love for each other but also for this incredible country we now call home, where we’ve happily lived for over a decade. “The van ultimately worked for what we needed. However, the AC would sometimes shut off while driving, the toilet leaked liquid into the bathroom, and the water pump stopped working, which meant we couldnt use any water in the RV for several days. We also often received delayed responses when we asked questions. After returning the RV, we were billed for several issues that we did not cause. We still enjoyed our trip overall, but we will probably look for a different camper to rent next time.”

“Although this van is very compact it offered all what we needed. One point of negative feedback: at the intake we already noticed that the rear tires were at a minimum condition. Early in our journey we were faced with a broken tyre due to its condition. We had to wait 4 hours to replace the tyre and also had to organise 2 new tires ourselves including a pre-payment. This should have organized in another way. Although Camplify promised a prompt reimbursement we only received this 8 weeks later after many e-mails and calls.”

“We spent two beautiful months in New Zealand with this very practical van. There was lots of storage room, a well equipped kitchen and the layout was well thought through so it was even possible to spend rainy days comfortably inside the van. We never had to worry about power due to the solar panel which always kept the batterie full. Communication with Berni & Reni was phenomenal. They always responded quickly and were super caring and helpful with everything we needed. Pick-up and Drop-off was very easy and they were super flexible and accommodating. We spend quite some time comparing different vans and this was by far the best price for value. Definitely recommend Oli. Campers for any kind of trip in New Zealand.”

Your hire includes coverage through the Accident Excess Reduction (AER) package. The level of coverage depends on whether you chose the Risk Taker or Happy Camper option. It’s important to read the terms of your AER carefully to understand what’s covered.

-Tolls: While toll roads are few in New Zealand, you are responsible for paying any that you use. You can easily make payments online.
-Traffic Fines: We hope you don’t get any tickets, but if you do, please make sure to pay them promptly.
-Smoking is prohibited inside the campervan
-Post-Trip Campervan Cleaning and Return Information
We know that cleaning a campervan after a long trip is no one’s favorite task! If you’d rather leave it to us, we can handle the cleaning for you at an extra cost. But if you’re up for it, here are some key cleaning tips to help you out:
-General Cleanliness.
-Interior Cleaning: Please return the campervan with a clean interior. This includes wiping down all surfaces, cleaning countertops, sweeping/vacuuming the floors, and making sure the space is free from dirt and debris.
-Exterior Cleaning: We’ll take care of washing the exterior for you. However, if the campervan is returned excessively dirty (mud, dust, etc.), an additional cleaning fee may apply.
-IMPORTANT: If you choose to wash the exterior yourself, please avoid using automatic car washes, as they can damage the solar panel.
-Stove: The stove should be cleaned after use. Please wipe away any spills or food residue and ensure all utensils, pots, and pans are washed and returned to their proper places.
-Fridge: Be sure to empty and wipe down the fridge before returning the campervan.
-Toilet Cleaning: The toilet cassette must be emptied and cleaned prior to drop-off.
-Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.
