Bernie and Reni were fantastic hosts! They provided us with everything we needed and gave us many tips to see/do in NZ. They were always available to answer any questions. We loved our time with Tina, had zero troubles the entire trip. Would definitely recommend booking with them!

I rented Tina for 3 and a half weeks to travel around the north and South Island, and I couldnt have asked for a better van. As a solo female traveller (who doesnt know a lot about cars), at first I was worried in case something went wrong. But the van ran perfectly and I didnt have any issues at all in the 5,500 KM I travelled in it. Bernie was super helpful, showing me how everything worked and sitting in the passenger seat whilst I did a short practise drive to get used to the van. He was very responsive over text and call with any questions I had throughout my trip, which was very reassuring. I felt a lot better knowing that in case anything did happen, he would be on the other side of the phone to help. In terms of the van, the set up was perfect. Being on my own, I had more than enough room for everything, and it would definitely fit two people without an issue. There was plenty of storage under the bed, and spacious shelves at the back of the van too. The bed was very big, Im 6ft1 and it was long enough for me, as well as being a full sized double so more than enough width too. I was also pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was, it felt like a proper bed and I had some great nights sleep during my trip. Being able to charge my phone overnight using the second battery was also great, I never had to worry about it running out of charge. The kitchen came kitted out with everything and was set up really well, everything has been thought of in advance and I never found myself needing something that wasnt already in the van. Its is also very spacious, I managed to make proper meals there (risotto, tacos etc.) which I didnt expect to be able to do. On top of this, the van came with camping chairs and table so I was able to choose to eat outside or inside. Driving the van was very easy. Being used to a small manual car, I thought I would struggle with a bigger vehicle and automatic gearbox. I got used to both of these in about five minutes of driving the van. Theres an option to connect your music and maps to the screen in the car too, which made driving around a really great experience. Overall, I would highly, highly recommend Tina to anyone thinking of renting a van. If you want a hassle-free experience for your road trip, this is the best option. On top of all that, youd also be supporting a lovely family-owned business. Thank you Oli campers for making this the best possible NZ road trip!
